About Our Speaker:

Dawn Rodney is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Brand, with the National Geographic Society’s Marketing & Engagement team. She leads marketing strategy and outreach, brand strategy and creative, events, partnership marketing, and research strategy for the organization.  She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and campaigns to drive awareness of, and adoration and support for the National Geographic Society’s global mission to explore and protect the planet, as well as creating a relevant, cohesive identity across all brand experiences and platforms. Throughout her more than 30 years of experience, Rodney lead the re-envisioning of the National Geographic brand identity, helped launch and brand multiple cable channels including Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo WILD and has won numerous national and international awards for creative and brand campaigns, including an Emmy Award for National Geographic Channel’s “New Generation Explorers” campaign.  She studied journalism at Duquesne University and is a fellow of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.

AMA Philadelphia Cancellation Policy - All cancellations and requests for refunds or substitutions must be submitted to the chapter via email at [email protected].  Cancellations received at least 7 days in advance of an event are eligible for a credit towards future events or a full refund (minus any processing fees).  Cancellations received between 4-6 days prior to an event are eligible for a 50% credit towards future events or 50% refund (minus any processing fees).  No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or cancellations received within 3 days (72 hours) of an event.  Registrants wishing to cancel may substitute someone to take their place without penalty by submitting a written request at least one day prior to the event with the replacement person’s name and contact details.
